Previously called ‘Senior First Aid’, this course is considered the preferred basic level first aid training level by almost all industry which requires staff to hold a first aid qualification (such as Senior First Aid).  This unit incorporates the contents of two level two units Perform CPR (HLTCPR201B) and Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (HLTFA201B)

The training is delivered in a ‘Flexible Learning’ format – involving a workbook for students to complete and a 1 day Practical Skill Workshop participation which also includes the standard ‘Apply first aid’ (previously Senior First Aid), assessment.

Apply first aid aims to cover all of the critical first aid information and skills necessary to ensure participants are able to confidently and safely initiate (1) a first aid response, (2) basic life support and (3) situation management (including of the incident and bystanders or other first aiders), until the arrival of medical/advanced assistance

Time

9am-3pm (students are required to complete the Workbook prior to this session and bring it with them on the day for marking)

$150.00 per person includes text books, face-to-face training and final assessment
