Certificate III in Education Support (CHC30213) - previously known as Teachers Assistant
This qualification covers workers in a range of education settings including public and independent schools and community education settings that provide assistance and support to teachers and students under broad based supervision.
Some jurisdictions may require specialist skill development and supervision by qualified teachers to address specific job roles.

The Certificate III in Education Support (CHC30213) is also known as the teacher aide, integration aide or teacher assistant courses and is extremely popular for anyone who would like to secure employment within the education sector. It is ideal for anyone who would like to start a new career whilst at the same time is also extremely affordable and flexible.

Students completing the qualification via correspondence receive a workbook comprising 17 easy to manage units allowing completion of the qualification with self-paced workbooks. Coursework can be completed in the comfort of your own home, whereever you are. The timeframe for completion is usually 9-12 months inclusive of practical placement. This course is offered under a partnering agreement with Adapt Education RTO# 32452. All training, assessment and student support for this course is provided by Australian Training Professionals with the certificate being issued in partnership with Adapt Education.
100 hours of practical placement and up to an additional 100 hours are required as part of this qualification.The supervised practice also provides other benefits to the learner such as establishing a relationship with a potential employer.
ATP offers additional courses to further your education in this area. On completion of Certificate III in Education Support students can articulate to Certificate IV in Education Support where Australian Training Professionals offers Special Needs units. Completing the Certificate IV in Education Support will also increase opportunities to work with special needs children or to obtain employment in a special needs school.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Competency
For your convenience, this qualification is available by correspondence or via RPL for teacher's assistants already working in the field.
