There is currently a huge demand for Education Assistants to help teachers in schools by providing classroom support to students with a wide range of severe learning, physical and or behavioural difficulties. Our qualification offers units tailored towards Special Needs for those who would like to work with Special Needs children.
Assistants may work in a special school or in a mainstream school.
Certificate III in Education Support (CHC30213)
This qualification, previously know as teacher's assistant or aide, covers workers in a range of education settings including public and independent schools and community education settings that provide assistance and support to teachers and students under broad based supervision.
Some jurisdictions may require specialist skill development and supervision by qualified teachers to address specific job roles.
